PNC Bank Sponsors 250 YSU Student Tickets For FCS Playoffs

PNC Bank, a long-time YSU Athletics Corporate Sponsorship partner, is proud to offer free tickets to 250 current Youngstown State University students for Saturday's first round FCS playoff game against Duquesne at Stambaugh Stadium. Kickoff for the contest is set for 5 p.m.
The tickets, which must be picked up at the Stambaugh Stadium YSU Athletic Ticket Office, will be available starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday on a first-come, first-served basis. Students need to provide a current YSU ID at the time of pickup. Only one ticket is available per student. The normal price for student tickets for Saturday's game is $10.
"The YSU Athletic Department and the entire YSU Community would like to certainly extend a special thank you to PNC Bank for their generous and continuous support of YSU and our students," said Ron Strollo, YSU Executive Director of Athletics. "PNC partners with the University on numerous initiatives and allowing 250 students to cheer on the Penguins free of charge, in post-season play, at Stambaugh Stadium is another example of their continued giving during this Thanksgiving week."
For this NCAA contest, the YSU student section will be located on the west side of the stadium (Section 6), not the regular-season east side seating location, per NCAA regulations.
PNC Bank is a member of the Penguins Loge Family, presenting partner of the annual PNC Achievers Award presented to YSU student-athletes and has been a Corporate Partner of Penguins athletics for over 25 years. PNC also purchased student tickets for the 2016 YSU home playoff games Samford and Wofford.
