Youngstown, Ohio - The Youngstown State men's and women's diving programs delivered impressive performances against Clarion University in the dual-meet held at Beeghly Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.
In both the women's one-meter and three-meter, YSU finished three divers in the top five.
In the three-meter, Kayla Wrasman finished an impressive second with a score of 244.20. Dasha Toth was just behind in third, scoring a 235.05. Tess Weiskopf rounded out the top five with a score of 225.15.
Weiskopf earned the second-place nod in the one-meter, finishing with a score of 246.38. Wrasman finished third, scoring a 242.33. In fifth was Ellen Linscheid, who scored a 234.45.
Simon Iwanonkiw led the Guins in the men's three-meter, scoring a 243.08 to finish second. Cody Thill also placed in the top five with a score of 232.43 to finish fifth.
Zachary Lao finished top three in the men's one-meter dive, delivering a score of 238.58 in his third-place performance.
The men's and women's swimming and diving programs will return to action next Saturday as they head to Granville, Ohio to take on Denison before travelling to compete at the Butler Invite in Fishers, Ind. on Sunday.
Competition is set to begin at 10 a.m. against Denison, while the Butler Invite is scheduled to start at noon.
