Youngstown, Ohio -- Wright State scored twice in the second half to knock off the Youngstown State women's soccer team, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at Farmers National Bank Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Penguins fall to 2-5-2 overall and 0-1-1 in Horizon League play while the Raiders improve to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in league play.
The Penguins and Raiders battled through 70-scoreless minutes before Wright State's Josie Krupp scored an unassisted goal at the 70:09 mark of the match.
Wright State's Marcella Sizer added a goal at the 76:44 mark to pt the match out of reach.
The Penguins posted 10 shots led by Abriana Rondin and Elise Klein Spindola, who each had three shiots.
Youngstown State visits Detroit Mercy, Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m.
