This marks the second consecutive season that YSU has had a player earn All-Region honors.
Collin Floyd and
Dominick Bucko were each named to the ABCA/Rawlings East All-Region First Team in 2021.

Brosky led the Horizon League in ERA and innings pitched while tying for the league lead in strikeouts. He tied for the league lead with six victories and he ranked second in opponent batting average. The junior also paced the league and ranked second in the nation in complete games. Brosky's 98.2 innings pitched rank as the fifth most in a season in program history, and his 2.65 ERA is the ninth-lowest single-season mark in school history. He matched the single-season school record of 15 starts, becoming just the second Penguin since 2013 to start 15 games in a campaign.
Brosky was named to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team after matching his career high with 10 strikeouts in a complete game shutout in YSU's 6-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne on May 25. He became the first Penguin to be named to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team since 2014. Brosky became the first Penguin to pitch a shutout in the Horizon League Baseball Championship, and he joined Jeremy Quinlan (2014) and Corey Ohalek (2002) as the only YSU pitchers to toss a complete game in the tournament. Brosky also tied Phil Klein's 10-strikeout effort in 2011 for the most strikeouts in a game by a Penguin in the Horizon League's tournament.
