Max Tomczak Named to MVFC All-Newcomer Team

Youngstown State redshirt freshman wide receiver Max Tomczak was named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference's All-Newcomer Team, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Tomczak played in all 11 games, making seven starts in his YSU debut season. He had 26 receptions for 430 yards and two touchdowns and in MVFC games, caught 21 passes for 282 yards and a score. Tomczak hauled in touchdown passes against Dayton and North Dakota during the campaign. He posted a high of 92 yards against Dayton and also had 79 yards vs. UND.
