Penguins Finish Road Trip With 3-0 Loss at Milwaukee

The Youngstown State volleyball team ended its three-match road trip on Sunday with a three-set loss to Milwaukee at the Klotsche Center. The set scores were 25-9, 25-14, 25-12.
Paula Gursching had eight of YSU's 23 kills, and Amanda Lebioda finished with five. Josi Borum registered 17 assists and 11 digs for a double-double, and Aimee Beaupre had a team-high two blocks.
Milwaukee hit .357 and had three players finish with between eight and 10 kills. Madi Malone had a match-best 10 kills, and the Panthers added 11 aces and nine blocks.
Youngstown State will travel home and face a quick turnaround as it hosts Northern Kentucky on Tuesday. The match at Beeghly Center will begin at 6 p.m., and the first 100 fans will receive a card to redeem a free Chick-fil-A sandwich.
