Box Score Dayton, Ohio -- The Youngstown State baseball
team lost game two of its three-game set at Wright State 18-2 on
Friday evening at Nischwitz Stadium.
Drew Dosch hit his fourth home run of the season in the seventh
inning, and Jason Shirley had an RBI single in the fifth.
Tristan Moore drove in five runs, and Corey Davis scored five
times for Wright State, which improved to 9-2 in Horizon League
play.
The Raiders scored two unearned runs in the first, and two of
their three runs in the third came with two outs. They widened the
gap with five runs on two hits in the fourth.
Wright State starter Cody Kopilchack worked around six walks to
strike out six in five innings of work to earn his third win. Blake
Aquadro was charged with eight earned runs on five hits in 3 1-3
innings before handing the ball off to the bullpen.
The Penguins and Raiders will finish their series on Saturday at
2 p.m.
