Casey Hill Sets Second Meet Record at Highlander Invitational

Radford, Va. -- Youngstown State junior Casey Hill set her second meet record at the Radford Highlander Invitational in winning the 3-meter competition on Friday. Hill won the 1-meter on Thursday.

In the relays, the Penguins finished seventh in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 8:02.07were 10th in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:53.29.
Laura Paz was seventh in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.94 seconds, Samantha Roberts placed ninth in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.03, Ashley Dow placed ninth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.30, Kirstin Walker was 10th in the 200-yard freestyle clocking a time of 1:58.23 and Megan Ciampa was 12th in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:44.88.
In the team race, the Penguins moved up a spot from seventh to sixth place with a team score of 232. Liberty is in first place with 508.5 while Georgia Southern is second and Campbell is third.
The final day of the event is set for Saturday. Events are set to begin at 10:30 a.m.
