Volleyball Loses in Three at League-Leading Milwaukee

Milwaukee, Wis. -- Milwaukee had 12 blocks and hit .351 to sweep the Youngstown State volleyball team on Friday night at the Klotsche Center and remain unbeaten in Horizon League play.
The Panthers led the entire first two sets, winning 25-16 and 25-10. The third set had three ties and three lead changes before Milwaukee prevailed 25-16.
Alexis Egler and Shannon Watson both had seven kills, and Chelsea Guerrieri had 11 digs for Youngstown State. Hannah Blanchard had 15 kills, and Elizabeth Egerer had 11. Both players, along with Mackenzie Millis, hit at least .440.
The Penguins hit .185 in the opening set but .000 in the second and .054 in the third. Milwaukee hit .355, .440 and .289.
Youngstown State will play at Chicago State tomorrow at 3 p.m.
