Volleyball Falls in Three to Milwaukee

Youngstown – The Youngstown State volleyball team was outhit .329 to .029 in a three-set loss (25-12, 25-16, 25-10) to defending Horizon League champion Milwaukee on Saturday at Beeghly Center.

Dani Soubliere, Jenna Cavanaugh and Haley Kapferer each had five kills for YSU. Milwaukee's Natalie Schmitting led all players with eight kills and a .615 attack percentage. Schmitting also had six blocks, and the Panthers had 10 as a team.

The Panthers hit .333 in the first set, .500 in the second and .192 in the third. YSU hit .116, .107 and -.152.

YSU will play at Cleveland State on Friday at 7 p.m.
