Boscaljon's 11 Kills Not Enough in Raiders' Sweep of Penguins

Youngstown -- Ruth Boscaljon
had 11 kills and hit .579 for Youngstown State as the Penguins fell
in straight sets to Wright State on Friday evening.
The Raiders, who entered the match in
second-place in the Horizon League standings, hit .344 as a
team.
Haley Kapferer added four kills in eight
attempts for YSU, which hit .113. Boscaljon had five blocks while
Kapferer, Allison Heinz and Kaitlin O'Hara had two apiece.
Lexi Leonhard posted 13 kills and hit .385
while Becca Awaa had 10 kills for Wright State. Four different
Raiders hit .385 or higher.
The Penguins will host Valparaiso on Oct. 31 in
a Halloween-themed match. Prizes will be awarded to students in
attendance with the best costumes.
