Box Score Green Bay, Wis. -- Youngstown State ran into a
hot-shooting UW-Green Bay squad, which sot 54.7 percent from the
field, and reining Horizon League Player of the Year Nicole Soulis
scored a game-high 22 points as the Penguins dropped an 83-49
decision on Saturday afternoon at the Phoenix Sports Center.
The Penguins fall to 4-13 overall and 2-5 in the Horizon League
while the Phoenix extended their win streak to 12 games and
improved to 15-3 overall and 6-0 in the league.
Sophomore Monique Godfrey led the Penguins with 13 points,
including three 3-pointers.
Along with Soulis, the Phoenix, who shot 68 percent in the first
half, placed three others in double figures. Natalie Berglin posted
13 points while Kati Harty and Erin Templin each added 11
points.
The Penguins return home to host Cleveland State, Saturday, Jan.
27, at 2:05 p.m.
