Jennifer Montgomery is in her fifth season on the YoungstownState soccer staff and her first as associate head coach.Montgomery spent her first four seasons as an assistant coach.
Montgomery spent the 2009 season as the head coach at St.Andrew’s Presbyterian College and led the Knights to a 5-11-1overall record.
Prior to joining the staff at St. Andrew’s, Montgomeryspent a year as associate head coach and player for the BrevardCounty Cocoa Expos of the Women’s Premier Soccer League(WPSL). She also spent time as the head coach and trainer formultiple youth teams in the Space Coast United Soccer Club in2007-08.
A native of Colton, Calif., Montgomery gained coachingexperience as a volunteer assistant at Florida Institute ofTechnology (2007-08) and as an undergraduate assistant at CentralFlorida (UCF) (2007).
A four-year letterwinner at UCF, Montgomery spent four seasonsplaying in the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) andthree summers in the United Soccer League (USL) W-League.
Montgomery played for UCF from 2002-05 and graduate with abachelor’s degree in liberal studies with an emphasis inbusiness commerce and a minor in sports coaching in 2007.
Montgomery recently received her USSF C License and holds aNational Youth License.
