2012-13 (Freshman) | Game-By-Game Stats: Voted ontothe Horizon League All-Newcomer Team... YSU's last newcomerselection was Brandi Brown in 2009-10... Averaged 9.6 points, 4.0rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.5 steals... Finished the season rankingthird in the Horizon League in assists per game (4.3)... Was alsoseventh in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5), 25th in scoring (9.6ppg), 12th in free-throw percentage (.709), 13th in steals (1.5spg)... Only one freshman in the country, Lianna Doty of Missouri,averaged more assists... Averaged 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.2assists during league play... Named the Horizon League Newcomer ofthe Week three times – on Nov. 12, Dec. 3 and March 11... Her143 assists were the second-most every by a YSU freshman... Startedall 33 games at point guard... High School: Earned first-team all-statehonors at Class A as both a junior and senior playing for coachKatie Kowalczyk-Fulmer... As a senior she averaged 9.6 points, 3.7rebounds and 4.2 assists in leading Grand Haven High to the statetitle and a 27-1 record... Her 142 assists set the school’ssingle-season record... Davis scored 19 points and hit thegame-winning basket with nine seconds left in the statechampionship game... Had 10 points in the final eight minutes tohelp Grand Haven overcome an 18-point deficit... The Buccaneersalso went to the state finals her junior year... Played atAllendale her first two years of high school.
