High School: Earned Special Mention All-Ohio honors at the Division III level as she averaged 14 points as a sophomore in 2019-20... Battled injuries for the rest of her high school career… Assembled a long list of honors in just two active seasons... Named First-Team All-Southeast District as a sophomore and second-team as a freshman, and she was a two-time All-Tri-Valley Conference pick... Was named one of the Female Athletes of the Year by the Athens Messenger as both a sophomore and a junior, and she was named to the WOUB Hardwood Heroes All Future Team in 2019... In the AAU circuit, was selected to four all-tournament teams at USJN tournaments in 2019 as a member of Team Ohio. Also a star in volleyball, Hurd was named the Southeast District Player of the Year as a senior… Finished with more than 1,000 career kills, and she was a three-time all-district selection and a three-time all-TVC honoree… Was member of the National Honor Society and took college classes as part of a dual enrollment program.
