2010 | Sophomore: Made six appearances out ofthe bullpen... Posted a record of 0-2, an ERA of 36.00 and twostrikeouts in three innings... Threw a season-long one inning atKent State (3/24) and at Butler (3/27).

2009 | Freshman: Made nine appearances onthe mound, eight of which were out of the bullpen... Went 2-1 witha 5.79 ERA and 12 strikeouts... Did not allow a run in the final5.1 innings of the regular season, and he went 9.1 innings to closeout the regular season without allowing an earned run... Allowedfive runs in two innings in his lone start against Kent State(4/22)... From that point, did not allow an earned run until atwo-run home run in the Horizon League Tournament (5/19)... Thatwas the only hit he allowed in 2.2 innings... Struck out threebatters around three walks in the game... Threw 3.1 scorelessinnings of relief against Marshall to earn his first win in whatwas YSU’s 2,000th game as a program... Also got the win inrelief against Toledo by throwing two scoreless innings (5/12)...Held Valparaiso scoreless in 3.1 innings, allowing two hits andthree walks while striking out a career-high four (5/9).

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner...Earned awards for team MVP and pitcher of the year... Was theYoungstown Class B Summer League ERA Champion for Rondinelli Tuxedoin 2007 when he went 4-1 with four shutouts, struck out 40 battersand allowed only two earned runs in 33 innings... Also pitched inthe Connie Mack State Tournament and the NABF World Series... HeldLakewood St. Edward scoreless for five innings in the districtfinals of the state tournament in 2007... Was rated the 87th-bestplayer in the 2008 graduating class by The Buckeye Scout... Alsoearned three letters in golf at Fitch... Was a member of theNational Honor Society and earned an honors diploma.
