Jennifer (Jenna) Lesko joined the Youngstown State athletics department in December 1998 as a staff athletic trainer. She currently serves as Assistant Athletics Director, Sports Medicine, and works primarily with the men's and women's swimming programs.
Lesko serves as the department’s Insurance Coordinator and has also taken on the responsibility of maintaining CPR/AED and First Aid certifications for the athletic department's staff and coaches. Prior to her current sports assignments, Lesko had the privilege of working with each of the sports on campus.
Lesko received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Akron in 1993. She went on to earn her Master of Health and Human services from Youngstown State University in 2002. Lesko’s professional interests include injury prevention and the mental health of student-athletes.
Lesko and her husband, John, reside in Salem with their son, Zander, and daughter, Muirin.
