Youngstown State University

Brice Margenthaler joined the Youngstown State women's basketball coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach in August 2023.

A native of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Margenthaler came to Youngstown after serving as a student manager at Saint Louis University for two seasons. With the Billikens, Margenthaler helped facilitate drills and warmup routines, captured video for coaches and helped with equipment management. He also served as the travel manager for an SLU program that played in the Women's NIT in 2020-21.

Prior to his time at Saint Louis, Margenthaler was a two-sport student-athlete at Carl Sandburg College. As a member of the basketball program, he helped lead the program to a 44-18 record in two seasons, which was the highest win total over a two-year stretch in school history. He also played on the golf team while earning an associate's degree in general studies.

Margenthaler earned his Bachelor of Arts of Integrated Studies in communications from Murray State in 2023.
