Prior to Holy Names, Chamberlin served as an assistant softball coach for the University of Pittsburgh during the 2011 to 2013 seasons.

During her time at Pitt, she guided the Panthers to the top-50 in four NCAA Division I categories, including home runs, slugging percentage, triples and walks per game, during the 2011 season.

Chamberlin coached seven players that received All-Big East accolades, a Big East Rookie of the Year and National Player of the Week.

At Pitt, Chamberlin's duties included practice and game preparation, community service organization, recruiting, fielding and position play instruction for infielders and administration for camps and clinics.

She served as assistant coach for Saint Mary's College of California during the 2010 season, and helped the Gaels earn their first NCAA Tournament bid as Pacific Coast Softball Conference tournament champions.

Prior to Saint Mary's, Chamberlin spent time coaching in the Carolinas, including a season at North Carolina State in 2008, followed by the 2009 season at Coastal Carolina as an undergraduate assistant and assistant coach respectively.

A four-year starter at third base for the Wolfpack (2004-07), Chamberlin concluded her career with a .303 batting average, 225 hits, 49 home runs and 155 RBI. She also holds program records in home runs, RBIs, total bases (407), slugging percentage (.549), on-base percentage (.404) and games played (258).

Chamberlin is also ranked among the top five in several single-season records at N.C. State, including second overall in on-base percentage (.438), assists (137) and games played (71).

Chamberlin was a three-time ACC All-Conference honoree and a 2007 all-region selection.

Chamberlin was also a member of the National Pro Fastpitch's Washington Glory championship team in 2007.

Chamberlin graduated from NC State in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism and a master's degree in Parks and Recreation from Cal State East Bay in 2011.
