Youngstown State University

Josh Zarlenga serves as the Youngstown State men's golf program's assistant coach. Zarlenga was a standout for the Penguins from 2002-06.

During his career, he played in every round of every tournament for YSU. Overall, he competed in 113 rounds throughout his career, highlighted by 30 in his senior campaign. Zarlenga's 113 career rounds played are tied for the sixth most in program history.

His best finish at the Horizon League Championships came during his junior season in 2005. Zarlenga finished 10th with a three-round total of 226. He was 19th as a senior (2006), 23rd as a sophomore (2004) and 27th as a freshman (2003).

Zarlenga was a four-year letterwinner at Boardman High School before joining the YSU program in the fall of 2001. 

He earned his degree in accounting from Youngstown State in 2006. He earned his MBA from the school in 2008. An avid golfer still, he competes in area and regional tournaments.

Zarlenga is a partner at Hill, Barth & King LLC., where he also serves as a lead auditor and tax specialist.
