2022 (Senior): Competed in five races on the season…Earned First-Team All-League Honors….Is the 2022 Horizon League Men’s Runner-Up…Named to the Horizon League Honorable Mention Academic Team…Named HLXC Runner of the Week on 10/4…Broke the YSU 10k record at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals, clocking a 30:54.0 in his 38th-place finish that helped lead the Penguins to match their best-overall regional finish in program history (11/11)…Clocked an 8k time of 24:45.3 in his runner-up performance at the Horizon League Championships, helping the Penguins earn their first conference title since 2018 (10/29)…Finished 14th at the Penn State National Open with a 5.2 mile time of 25:34.0 (10/14)…Logged a 24:17.6, the second-fastest five-mile/8k time in program history, in the gold race at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, finishing fourth and leading the team to the first gold race victory in YSU history (9/30)…Placed 15th at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown with an 8k time of 24:26 (9/23).

2021 (Junior): Competed in three events in 2021...Finished 128th at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional with a 10K time of 32:48.1 (11/12)...Clocked a time of 26:54.3 at the Horizon League Cross Country Championships to finish 27th (10/30)...Posted a 5.2-mile time of 27:54.9 at the Penn State National Open (10/15). 

2020 (Sophomore): Competed both team outings on the season...Named to the 2020 NCAA Division I men's Cross Country All-Academic Team...Finished 200th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships (10K) with a time of 32:50.6 (3/15/21) - only the second male runner to represent YSU in program history...Won individual title at the Horizon League Cross Country Championships, posting a time of 25:22.0 (3/4/21)...Logged a team-best fifth-place finish at the Florida State Winter Cross Country Classic with a time 25:06.1 (2/5/21) - the second-fastest time in program history among YSU sophomores.

Akron 2019 Cross Country: Ran in all six races for Akron...placed 35th at the Mid-American Conference Championships (Nov. 2) with a time of 26:33.1...posted a season-best 10th-place finish at the Tommy Evans Invitational (Sept. 7) crossing the line in 20:03.4 (10th) to help Akron to a team title...recorded a career-best 8K time of 26:29.7 to place 38th at the All-Ohio Championships (Sept. 28) to help the Zips to a team title in Division I...registered a career-best 10K effort of 32:43.0 (100th) at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional (Nov. 15)...also added times of 25:20.16 (48th) and 26:35.3 (45th) at the Joe Piane-Notre Dame Invitational (Oct. 4) and Penn State National (Oct. 18).
 
Personal: Son of Jamie Easterling...Majoring in exercise science... is a 2022-23 recipient of the Penguin Club - Joseph F. Malmisur Athletic Scholarship endowment..
