2021-22 (Fifth Year): Earned All-Academic Team accolades from the NTCA and the Southland… Injuries limited her to just one active tournament when she bowled two Baker frames at the PVAMU Invitational... Was granted a fifth-season of eligibility based on the NCAA’s blanket waiver for COVID-19 in the 2020-21 season.
2020-21 (Senior): Earned the Elite 90 Award at the NCAA Championship for having the highest cumulative GPA among all bowlers at the finals site... Became the first bowler in program history to be voted Academic All-District by CoSIDA, and she went on to become the 22nd YSU student-athlete in any sport to be named Academic All-America... Earned Second-Team Academic All-America honors and was the only Division I bowler to be on any of the teams... Named to the Southland Bowling League All-Academic Team and an NTCA All-Academic scholar-athlete... Bowled in 41 team games, totaling 7,830 pins for an average of 190.98... Surpassed 200 17 times, which ranked as the third-most on the squad... Her highest game was a 257 against Fairleigh Dickinson at the NCAA Regional (4/7)... That tied for the ninth-highest game in program history... Placed in the top 25 at four tournaments with a high of 14 at the James Brown Invitational... Bowled in 525 Baker frames and averaged 18.78 pins per frame... Bowled in the third spot in the lineup as YSU set a new school record for highest Baker game with a 279 against Maryville at the Big Red Invitational (2/26)... For the year, bowled in 931 frames and posted 417 strikes and 321 spares... Recorded a 44.79 strike percentage, a 62.45 spare percentage and a 79.27 fill frame percentage.
2019-20 (Junior): Named to the Southland Bowling League All-Academic Team and was one of three SBL bowlers to achieve a 4.0 during the year... Was also an NTCA All-Academics scholar-athlete... Competed in all 10 tournaments... Was in the lineup as YSU set school records for highest baker match, team match, Baker round total, team round total and tournament average... Bowled in 39 team games and totaled 7,437 pins for an average of 190.69... Recorded 17 200 games and posted a high game of 243 against Valparaiso on Feb. 29 at the Big Red Invitational... Earned two top-six finishes individually, placing second at the Columbia 300 Penguin Classic and sixth at the Big Red Invitational... Her five-game total of 1,093 at the Columbia 300 Penguin Classic was a school record at the time (teammate Nikki Mendez topped it later in the season)... Her 1,074 total at the Big Red Invitational was the fourth-highest tournament total of the season and the sixth-best mark ever by a Penguin... Bowled in 621 Baker frames, averaging 18.69 pins per frame... For the year, bowled in 1,011 frames and posted 411 strikes and 411 spares... Struck on 40.65 of her attempts, converted 68.5 percent of her spares and registered an 81.31 fill frame percentage.
LIU: Competed at LIU Brooklyn the first two seasons of her college career... Was also a two-time NTCA All-Academic Team selection... Was a regular in the lineup for the Blackbirds as a sophomore in helping the team finish 23rd in the final NTCA Top 25 Poll... Posted an 18.07 frame average and a 78.1 fill percentage during the season... Was named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll... As a freshman, bowled a 255 in the first weekend of her collegiate career while finishing the season with an 18.00 frame average and a 76.0 fill percentage.
High School: Finished 38th at the 2017 Junior Gold Championships... Qualified 26th at the tournament and was 18th after the advancer round... Also in 2017, was the New Jersey State Pepsi U20G Champion... In 2016, placed 12th at the Teen Masters Junior National Championships... Also placed among the top 30 bowlers at the New Jersey state tournament... Placed 18th at the state tournament as a senior.
Personal: Parents are Bonnie and Frank... Is an only child... Finished 35th at the 2019 Junior Gold Championships and was 13 pins away from competing in the Final Advancers Round of 32... Major is public health... Recipient of the 2021-22 Penguin Club Athletic Scholarship.
