Named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll while also earning the Commissioner’s Academic Medal for having a GPA of at least 3.75... Bowled in 33 traditional games and knocked down 6,688 pins for an average of 202.67... Had 16 games of at least 200... Earned Second-Team All-Tournament Team accolades at the Northeast Classic when she shot 1,110 and averaged 222.00 in traditional play... Shot a career-high 278 against Molloy at the tournament (Jan. 20)... Had three other top-20 finishes during the season, placing 13th at the Penguin Classic, 17th at Destination Orlando and seventh at the PVAMU Invitational... Bowled in 311 Baker frames and averaged 19.57 pins per frame in the format... Averaged 20.02 pins per frame overall in 648 total frames... Struck in 49.07 percent of her frames... Converted 70.91 percent of her spares, and she recorded a fill-frame percentage of 85.19 percent.
Summer 2023:Â At the 2023 Junior Gold Championships, she was 12th after two rounds and qualified for the Advancers Round.
2022-23 (Sophomore): Named to the Southland Bowling League Academic Honor Roll… Bowled in 36 traditional matches and recorded a total pinfall of 7,140 for an average of 198.33… Topped 200 on 16 occasions, and her highest game was a 262 against Lincoln Memorial at the Mid-Winter Invitational… Bowled in traditional play at every tournament, and her best finish came at the Dezy Strong Classic when she placed 12th with an average of 199.80… Bowled in 406 Baker frames and averaged 19.15 pins per frame in the format… Her overall frame average was 19.46 over 765 total frames… Struck on 45.10% of her chances and converted 70.48% of her spare opportunities… Her fill frame percentage was 83.79%.
Summer 2022: Advanced to match play in the U20 Division of the 2022 Junior Gold Championships... Remained in the top 21 out of the 79 bowlers in the field throughout qualifying... Finished qualifying in 15th place to make the cut of 16, and she finished in a tie for ninth after winning her first head-to-head match... Placed seventh at the 2022 Teen Masters Bowling Championships.
2021-22 (Freshman): Voted to National Tenpin Coaches Association All-Rookie First Team… Earned All-Academic Team accolades from the NTCA and the Southland… Bowled in 35 traditional matches and totaled 6,982 pins for an average of 199.49… Reached 200 15 times, including when she bowled a season-best 268 game against Prairie View A&M at the PVAMU Invitational (1/29)… That was the fifth-highest game by a Penguin during the season and best game ever by a YSU freshman… Was the leadoff bowler when the Penguins posted their first 300 game in program history in a Baker match against Valparaiso on Feb. 25 at the Big Red Invitational… Youngstown State also set a school record for highest match total with a 1,189 against the Beacons… Was the Penguins’ top finisher at the MOTIV Ladyjack Classic by placing 17th with a five-game set of 1,043… Her best finish at a tournament was when she was 14h at the PVAMU Invitational (1,251 over six games)… In Baker play, averaged 19.27 pins over 405 frames… Overall, averaged 19.61 pins per frame, which tied for the eighth-best scoring average in school history for a single season… Struck on 46.98 percent of her attempts, and converted 66.34 percent of her spares… Posted a park in 82.69 percent of her frames.
Before YSU: Earned a position on the 2022 Junior Team USA for her performance at the 2021 Junior Gold Championships... Had the fifth-highest qualifying total in the U18 division to earn one of six positions on the national team... Averaged 217.4 in the Advancers Round and 213.4 in the Final Advancers Round, then went 1-2 in match play... Also had a great performance at Teen Masters in 2021 as she finished the tournament in fourth place with a total score of 8,615, which included bonuses from match play... Her scratch total of 8,435 was the third-best total in the field... Also placed 10th in 2019 and 13th in 2020 at Teen Masters... Before earning her Junior Team USA spot at Junior Gold, she participated in the Team USA Trials in 2020... Was a member of the South Carolina Interstate All-star bowling team every year from 2015-21, and she had the highest total pinfall and won the Ally Goodwin Sportsmanship Award in the 2020 season... Was also a member of student council, the guitar club and the table tennis club... Graduate Summa Cum Laude and was a Distinguished AP Scholar.
Personal: Parents are Steve and Rhonda... Has two sisters (Katie and Felicia) and a brother (Steven)... Is double-majoring in psychology and anthropology... Was a 2022-23 recipient of a Lester F.
