2013 (Junior): Competed in seven meets…placed 53rd at the Horizon League Cross Country Championships with a time of 20:39.33…helped lead the Penguins to the first Horizon League women’s cross country title in school history…ran a season-best 5k to finished 22nd at the Duquesne Duals with a time of 19:44.8…ran a 19:57 at the Tommy Evans Invitational placing 27th…placed 62nd at the BGSU Mel Brodt Invitational with a time of 19:27.43...earned her third letter.

2012 (Sophomore): Competed in all five meets...finished a strong 14th at the Horizon League Championships with a time of 18:50...at the Duquesne Duals was 25th with a time of 20:06...finished 24th at the Tommy Evans Invitational with a time of 20:03...was 42nd at the Notre Dame Invitational with a time of 18:38...at the NCAA Pre-Nationals posted a time of 23:16.9 in the 6K to place 129th...earned her second letter.

2011 (Freshman): Competed in all seven meets and scored in two...ran a season-best 6k time of 23:55 at the Great Lakes Regional...finished 28th at the Horizon League Championships...time was 20:50...ran the 5k in 20:46 at the Duquense Duals to place 28th...improved her time to 20:41 at the Akron Quad to place 35th...crossed the line at the Notre Dame Invitational in a season-best 5k time of 19:31...placed 84th at the meet...finished the Penn State Spiked Shoe Invitational in 46th place with a time of 23:56...ran the Penn State Collegiate National in 25:13...earned her first letter.

High School: Was a four-time letter winner in track and cross country...set high school records in the 1600 (5:28), 3200 (11:41) and 5k (19:47)...qualified for Regionals three times in cross country...earned Federal League Honors...ran 20:38 at the 2010 Suburban League Championships to finish first...was the Greater Youngstown Track Officials' 2011 Cross Country Runner of the Year...coach was Bruce Breunig.

Personal: Parents are Todd and Elaine Heney...has a brother and a ister...major is nursing...is the recipient of the 2013-14 Sokolov Family Scholarship.
