2022 (Senior): Earned Horizon League All-Academic honors and was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team… Received the team's Defensive Player of the Year award at the program's postseason banquet… Served as a team captain… Played in all 30 matches and in 117 sets as the team's primary libero… Led the Horizon League in total aces with 50, and her 0.43 aces per set ranked second in the circuit… Her 50 aces tied the school record for the most in the rally-scoring era, and tied for the eighth-most regardless of format in program history… Ranked seventh in the conference in digs per set… Posted totals of 433 digs, 128 assists and 50 aces for averages of 3.70 digs, 1.09 assists and 0.43 aces per set… Her 433 digs were the eighth-most ever in a season by a Penguin…. Averaged 3.83 digs, 1.03 assists and 0.39 aces per set in her 18 conference matches… Set a new school record with 28 aces in Horizon League play… Reached double digits in digs 24 times… Had a career-high 29 digs, which is tied for the 10th-most in a rally-scoring match in YSU history, in a five-setter at Northern Kentucky (10/15)… Just missed a double-double with 24 digs and nine assists at Purdue Fort Wayne (10/28)… Tied the school record for aces in a three-set, 25-point rally match with five at Canisius (9/9)… Had a career-best six aces at IUPUI (10/29)... Was a 2022-23 recipient of a Penguin Club/Joseph F. Malmisur Athletic Scholarship endowment.
2021 (Junior): Played in 47 sets over 19 matches, including 17 of the final 18 contests of the season… Registered 44 kills, 12 assists, eight aces and 12 blocks… Averaged 0.94 kills and 1.62 digs per set… Made her first start of the season against IUPUI and responded with a career-high 13 digs to go along with three kills (10/3)… Had 11 digs and a season-best seven kills two days later at Wright State… Notched a season-high three aces at Cleveland State (10/24).
2020-21 (Sophomore - COVID-19 waiver): Appeared in 29 sets over 12 matches... Recorded 38 kills, 40 digs, seven aces, four assists and two blocks... Posted a season-best 13 of those kills in a five-set victory over Robert Morris (3/8)... Also had 10 digs against the Colonials for her first career double-double... Posted 10 digs and a career-best five aces in the season opener, a five-set win over IUPUI (1/25)... That was the highest aces total by a Penguin during the season.
2019 (Chicago State): Played in 20 matches at Chicago State in 2019 along with current YSU teammate Josi Borum... Averaged 0.95 kills, 0.70 digs and 0.16 aces... Had five kills in two different matches and registered 10 digs in four sets at Eastern Illinois.
Prior to college: Named MVP of the First Serbian League and led her team to a championship... Was named the best outside hitter in the Second Serbian League.
Personal: Parents are Stanislav and Vesna... Has a sister Tijana, who played volleyball for four years at Park University (NAIA)... Earned her bachelor's degree in international business in the spring of 2023... Is currently enrolled in the Master's of Professional Communications program. Is the 2023-24 recipient of the F. William Knecht Scholarship.
