Career Summary: Second YSU player to earn All-Horizon League honors twice and the first two do it in consecutive seasons… Became the program’s fifth player to record 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs… Was the first Penguin to reach 1,000/1,000 in 15 years… Both milestones came at Valparaiso on Oct. 3, 2014… One of four players in school history with back-to-back seasons with 300 kills and 300 digs and one of only two with four consecutive 200/200 seasons… Finished her career ranking fourth in program history with 1,147 kills… Was also second in sets played (449), third in attempts (3,327), ninth in points (1,317) and 11th in digs (1,139).
2014 (Senior) | Match-By-Match Stats: Named All-Horizon League for the second straight season... Became YSU's second student-athletes (Ruth Boscaljon) to be named All-Horizon League twice, and she was the first two accomplish the feat in back-to-back seasons... First Penguin to earn all-league honors in consecutive seasons since Kristen Meech in 1999 and 2000... Played in all 117 sets and started all 31 matches... 2013 (Junior) | Match-By-Match Stats: Was one of three Penguins to play in all 121 sets and was one of four to start all 31 matches... Voted All-Horizon League and became the first Penguin in school history to earn Horizon League All-Tournament Team honors... Named Youngstown State's Most Valuable Player... On YSU's single-season records list, her 987 attempts are the 10th most, her 343 kills are the 17th most... Her 343 kills were also the fifth-most by a Penguin junior... Added 329 digs, the eighth-most by a YSU junior, 20 aces and 47 blocks... Turned in the 16th 300 kills, 300 digs season in school history... Led the team in serve receive percentage... Ranked 10th in the Horizon League with 2.83 kills per set... In conference matches, ranked seventh in the conference with 2.98 kills per set... 2012 (Sophomore) | Match-By-Match Stats: Played in 109 sets and started all 29 matches... Was the only player on the squad to start every match... Made one of those starts at libero (at Coppin State)... Finished with 234 kills and 270 digs, surpassing 200 in both for the second straight season... Set new career highs with both totals and with averages of 2.15 kills and 2.48 digs per set... Also set career highs with a .175 attack percentage, 18 service aces (0.17 per set) and 38 total blocks (0.35 per set)... Averaged 2.35 kills and 2.76 digs per set against Horizon League opponents... Was outstanding in serve receive, passing successfully on 97.4 percent of her attempts... That was the best on the team... Registered seven double-doubles... Reached double figures in kills 10 times and in digs on 13 occasions... Hit at least .276 in each six of her first seven double-digit kill matches... Set a new career high with 22 digs while adding 15 kills in a five-setter at Green Bay (9/22)... Her highest kill total of the season came in a four-set loss at Valparaiso (10/6)... Became the first YSU freshman to finish with at least 200 kills and 200 digs since Jessica Fraley in 2004... Also had 17 aces and 27 blocks... Had an impressive .954 serve receive percentage with 21 errors in 455 chances... Averaged 2.08 kills, 0.17 aces, 2.02 digs and 0.26 blocks... Set school records for most assists, sets and serves... Named all-league and all-district in each of her last three seasons, and she was an honorable mention all-county pick as a junior... Her team won the league and district titles each of her last three years... Was one of 22 players from Michigan on the All-America Watch List... Played for the Mizuno Legacy Volleyball Club.
