2019-20 (Senior): Named to the Southland Bowling League All-Academic Team and an NTCA All-Academic scholar-athlete... Set a new school record for highest season average with a 200.04 over 47 games... Also tied teammate Emma Dockery for most 200 games in a season with 22... Set a new program record for fill frame percentage in a season with a mark of 84.19... Bowled the highest game in school history with a 289 against Central Missouri on Feb. 29 at the Big Red Invitational... Was a wobbly 10-pin away from having a shot at perfection... Was also in the lineup as YSU set school records for highest baker match, team match, Baker round total, team round total and tournament average... Ranked ninth in the Southland Bowling League in frame average in traditional format, and she also ranked among the league's leaders in single pin spare percentage, first ball average, and spare percentage... Bowled in all 10 tournaments, placing in the top 10 individually at four tournaments and in the top 25 eight times... Was the runner-up at the Big Red Invitational when her 289 game carried her to a school-record total of 1,121... Her other top-10 showings included fourth place at the Columbia 300 Penguin Classic (1,044) and seventh-place finishes at the Mount Shootout (977) and the Northeast Invitational (1,015)... Earned all-tournament team honors at three events... Bowled in a school-record 796 Baker frames and registered a 19.48 frame average, which was the third-best mark in program history... Was the team’s primary leadoff bowler... Bowled in 1,265 frames total and registered 572 strikes and 493 spares... Posted a strike percentage of 45.22, a spare percentage of 71.14 and a fill frame percentage of 84.19.
2018-19 (Junior): Named the team’s Most Valuable Player... Earned All-Southland Honorable Mention accolades and named to the Southland All-Academic Team... Also earned NTCA All-Academic accolades... Set single-season program records for total pinfall, games bowled, Baker frames and strike percentage... Competed in all nine tournaments and led the team with 1,094 total frames... Also led the team with a 19.01 frame average overall and a 19.05 frame average in Baker play... Posted 457 strikes for a team-best 41.77 strike percentage, and her 70.64 percent on spare conversions also led the squad... Marked in 82.91 percent of her frames... Was one of two Penguins to compete in all 42 team games, and she led the squad with 15 games over 200 and a 189.40 average... Averaged an impressive 199.36 over 22 games in the spring semester... Bowled five of the top 11 single-game totals for the team... Posted a 235 twice – against Prairie View A&M at the Sunshine State Winter Classic (2/9) and versus Lewis at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic (3/16)... Finished in the top 25 in four tournaments and was the Penguins’ top finisher five times... Her highest finish during the year was 12th at the KU Invitational when she totaled 1,043 over five games... That was the second-highest tournament pinfall of her career, behind the 1,063 she fired at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic to end the regular season... Bowled in a team-high 674 Baker frames and posted a team-best 19.05 Baker frame average... Was YSU’s leadoff bowler in Baker play for most of the spring semester.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Earned the program’s award for carrying the highest average in team games... Bowled in a team-high 39 team games out of a possible 40 and totaled 7,163 pins for an average of 183.67... Surpassed 200 a team-best nine times, and her 246 against Felician on Oct. 15 tied for the highest single-game score by a Penguin during the season... Was the team’s top finisher in two tournaments and was in the top three in four others... Her best finish was sixth place at the Bud Whitman Memorial to start the season, which gave her all-tournament team honors... Totaled 1,035 pins in five games for an average of 207.00... Also placed in the top 20 at the Crusader Classic (15th - 924) and the James Brown Invitational (14th - 942)... Started all 61 Baker matches and bowled in the anchor position in 59 of them... Appeared in 320 total Baker games... Registered frame averages of 18.41 in team games and 18.60 in Baker games for an overall average of 18.53... Struck on 38.60 percent of her attempts and converted 67.93 percent of her spares for a mark percentage of 80.31.
2016-17 (Freshman): Started 39 traditional matches and was the team's primary anchor in Baker play... Averaged 186.92 in traditional games and surpassed 200 14 times... Was the Penguins' top finisher in three tournaments and placed among the top three Penguins five times... Her highest individual finish was 12th overall at the FDU New Jersey Jamboree when she averaged 195.2 over five games... Bowled a season-high score of 235 against Lincoln Memorial at FDU... Averaged 199.8 over five games the next week at the TRACK Kat Klash as she led the Penguins again and finished 17th overall... Was also YSU's top finisher when she placed 42nd at the Stormin' Ladyjack Classic with a five-game average of 192.8... Bowled in a team-high 318 Baker games... Led the team with a 19.22 frame average in Baker play and averaged 18.74 pins per frame in traditional matches... Her overall frame average of 19.04 was tops on the team... Struck in a team-high 41.33 percent of her frames and was second on the team by converting 72.59 percent of her spare attempts... Marked in 83.92 percent of her frames, which was a team high.
High School: Earned four varsity letters... Set a school record for highest average in a season with a 211.8 as a junior... Had the second-highest three-game set in school history at 745... Finished 17th individually in the state as a senior as her team placed third... Averaged 213 at the IHSA State tournament as a junior, where she helped her team win the state title... Took first place at regionals, and she was 22nd individually at the state tournament as a junior... Was a four-time inductee into Lockport Township's Hall of Fame... Received the Porter Pride Award as a senior... Also played softball and volleyball... Was on the honor roll two years and the high honor roll twice.
Personal: Parents are Joe and Dawn... Has two sisters (Jenna and Missy)... Born in Homer Glen, Ill... Major is psychology... Finished 10th at the Addision Intercollegiate Singles Championship Sectional Qualifier, shooting 1,221 for six games... Recipient of the 2019-20 Lester F. Donnell Scholarship.
