2021-22 (Fifth Year: Voted to the All-Horizon League Preseason Second Team by the conference's coaches... It was her fourth straight season earning a preseason all-league nod.
2020-21 (Senior): Named YSU’s Female Athlete of the Year... Voted to the All-Horizon League Third Team and the HL All-Academic squad... It was her third straight season on an all-league team and her second consecutive academic nod... Also named the Coach Ed DiGregorio Team MVP for the second straight season, making her one of just eight players in program history to earn the award multiple times... Became the 23rd player in YSU women’s basketball history to reach 1,000 career points (1/15 at UIC)... Started all 18 games... Registered 188 points, 85 rebounds, 90 assists, 22 steals and 19 blocks for averages of 10.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks... Led the Horizon League in assists for the second time in her career with a career-best 5.0 assists per game... Also ranked 18th in the conference in scoring and was second in assist-to-turnover ratio, fifth in free-throw percentage and sixth in blocks... In addition to scoring her 1,000th point, she also grabbed her 600th career rebound and dished out her 300th career assist during the season... Olson and Danielle Carson (1982-86) are the only two players in program history to have at least 600 rebounds and 300 assists... Finished the season as the only Division I player in the country with at least 1,000 points, 660 rebounds and 375 assists... Scored in double figures eight times and reached 20 points on three occasions... Made a career-high six 3-pointers in just seven attempts in the Horizon League Tournament game at Milwaukee (3/2)... Is one of just five Penguins to ever go at least 6-for-7 from beyond the arc in a game... Scored a season-best 24 points against Oakland when she went 9-for-14 from the field (1/9)... In the game she scored her 1,000th career point, she scored 20 points behind a 14-of-16 effort at the free-throw line... The 14 makes tied for the third-most ever in a game by a Penguin... Had a season-high 11 assists, her third career game with at least 10, against Purdue Fort Wayne (2/5)... Blocked five shots in the win over Cleveland State (2/20)... Notched four steals twice... Grabbed a season-best nine rebounds at home against UIC (1/22).
2019-20 (Junior): Named the Coach Ed DiGregorio Team MVP... Voted to the All-Horizon League First Team after ranking eighth in the league in scoring and being among the top nine in eight different categories (scoring, rebounding, assists, free-throw percentage, 3s per game, blocks, defensive rebounds and minutes)... Also voted to the Horizon League All-Academic Team... Was the first Penguins guard to be a first-team all-conference pick since Brianne Kenneally in 1999-00... Joined Jen Perugini, Brandi Brown, Heidi Schlegel and teammate Mary Dunn as Youngstown State players to be named First-Team All-Horizon League... Had the first triple-double by a Penguin since 1986 in the season opener against Canisius with 13 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds... Danielle Carson was the last - and only other - YSU player with a triple-double when she had six during the 1985-86 season... Was one of 22 players in the country in 2019-20 to record a triple-double... Became just the fourth player to lead the Penguins in points (364) and assists (87) in the same season – joined former teammate Indiya Benjamin (2016-17), Liz Hauger (1994-95) and Kenneally (1999-00)... Also led the squad in rebounds (217), blocks (25) and steals (35)... Averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists for the year and 12.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists during Horizon League play... Ranked 31st in the country in free-throw percentage at .852... That ranked second in the conference, and it was the ninth-best mark for a season in program history... Shot 89.9 percent from the line in conference play... Named the Horizon League Player of the Week for the second time in her career on Jan. 20 after averaging 14.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in road wins over Oakland and Detroit Mercy... Scored in double figures 20 times, had at least 10 rebounds eight times and posted six double-doubles... Scored at least 12 points in 11 of her final 14 games of the season... Scored her 900th career point at Milwaukee on Feb. 27 while also notching a career-best five steals... Matched her career high with 15 rebounds and added 16 points in the win over Eastern Michigan (11/16)... Tied a career high with four blocks at Northern Kentucky (1/2)... Made multiple 3-pointers 13 times, including a season-best four at Cleveland State in the Horizon League Tournament (3/3)... Was a Preseason All-Horizon League Second-Team honoree.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Voted to the All-Horizon League Second Team as one of the most well-rounded players in the conference... Was just the fourth YSU guard to earn all-conference honors as a sophomore and joined former teammate Indiya Benjamin as the only Penguins guards to earn All-Horizon League accolades... Started all 32 games at point guard and totaled 320 points, 228 rebounds and 146 assists for averages of 10 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists... Was the only underclassman in Division I to average at least 10 points, seven rebounds and 4.5 assists, and she was one of five players to reach those averages regardless of class... Averaged 10.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists in conference play... Became the first player in program history to lead the team in assists and blocks (34) in the same season... Also led the squad in steals (32) and minutes (1,041)... Ranked second in the team with 60 3-pointers... On YSU’s single-season records list, ranked 10th in minutes, 13th in blocks, 14th in assists and 15th in 3-pointers... Led the Horizon League in assists and ranked among the top eight in the conference in nine different categories (free throw percentage, rebounding, assists, 3-point field-goal percentage, blocks, 3-pointers per game, assist-to-turnover ratio, defensive rebounds and minutes)... Named the Horizon League Player of the Week by the conference office on Dec. 31 and by College Sports Madness on Dec. 23... Averaged 13.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists while making eight 3s over two games the week leading up to Dec. 23... Earned the league’s Player of the Week honor by averaging 16.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists in victories at Detroit Mercy and Oakland in the first week of conference play... Scored in double figures 13 times and grabbed at least 10 rebounds seven times... Posted five double-doubles in points and rebounds... Had a near triple-double with a career-high 12 assists, nine points and nine rebounds at Cleveland State in the regular-season finale (3/2)... The 12 assists tied for the 12th-most in a game in school history... Grabbed a career-best 15 rebounds at Oakland (12/30)... Made a 3-pointer in 26 games, including a career-best five in a home win over Green Bay (2/15)... Had 19 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in addition to the five 3s in the victory against the Phoenix... 2017-18 (Freshman): Named the program’s Newcomer of the Year... Voted to the Horizon League All-Freshman Team as the most versatile freshman in the conference... Played in all 32 games and led YSU’s freshmen with 21 starts... Totaled 252 points, 139 rebounds, 55 assists, 24 blocks and 19 steals... Averaged 7.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists for the year... Improved her averages to 10.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists while making 33 3-pointers against Horizon League opponents... Ranked among the top four Penguins in scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks, steals and 3-pointers... In conference play among freshmen, she ranked first in 3-pointers, 3-point field-goal percentage (.375), blocks (15) and minutes (30.2)... Was second among freshmen in scoring, assists (2.3/game) and rebounding (5.4/game)... Her .388 field-goal percentage was the best among YSU’s guards... On YSU’s freshman records lists, she ranked second in blocks, third in 3-pointers and eighth in rebounds... Earned the Horizon League Freshman of the Week award in four straight weeks (1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12)... No player had won it at least three times in a row since the award was instituted in 2013-14... Also named the league’s player of the week by College Sports Madness on Feb. 12... Started that stretch by scoring a career-high 26 points at Cleveland State (1/20), which was the highest total by a league freshman in 2017-18 and the most by a YSU freshman since Ann Marie Martin in 1995... Had YSU’s first double-double by a freshman since 2013 with 16 points and 11 boards vs. NKU (1/25)... Nearly had a triple-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists at UIC (2/10)... Scored in double figures 10 times, and YSU was 10-0 in those contests... Made a 3-pointer in 23 different games... Had a season-high four blocks at UIC (2/10)... Posted a season-best three steals in the win at IUPUI (2/8).
High School:Â Earned Honorable Mention all-state accolades by the Associated Press and the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association... Named the Coulee Conference Athlete of the Year and first-team all-conference... Ranked sixth in scoring across all divisions in Wisconsin at 24.7 points per game... Led Westby to the Wisconsin Division 3 regional title game... Was a finalist for an award recognizing the top senior shooter in Wisconsin... Broke her high school's all-time scoring record for boys or girls, which had stood for 20 years... Finished her career with 1,725 points... Was named honorable mention all-state, the Coulee Conference Player of the Year and All-Lacrosse Tribune First-Team as a junior when she averaged 20 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.4 steals and 3.1 assists... Shot 58 percent from the floor and 39-percent from 3-point range as a junior.
Personal: Major is exercise science... Parents are Bruce and Kerri... Has two brothers (Tyler and Zach)... Recipient of the 2021-22 Mike and Janet Murray Scholarship... Earned her bachelor's degree majoring in exercise science in Spring 2021.
