YSU Announces Promotional Schedule for 2026 Volleyball Season

Youngstown, Ohio — Youngstown State's volleyball program will feature four theme nights and six matches with giveaways during the 2026 season. The YSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the team's promotional schedule on Wednesday.
The 2026 campaign begins inside Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center on Aug. 28-29 as the Penguins host the annual YSU Invitational, presented by Mercy Health, and fans will receive a schedule poster for the opener against Mercyhurst at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Additional giveaways throughout the season include a YSU clear tote bag on Sept. 18; free pizza and T-shirts for YSU students on Oct. 2, Oct. 6 and Nov. 12; and a YSU canvas pouch on Nov. 6.
The first of four theme nights will be Oct. 2 with Hawaiian Night for Youngstown State's first Horizon League home match, and Rivalry Red Night will follow on Oct. 6. YSU's annual Pink Night will be Oct. 23, and Red, White and Blue Night will be Nov. 12.
The Penguins will wrap up their home slate by celebrating Senior Night on Nov. 13.
