The Youngstown State men's tennis team returns to action this Friday through Sunday at the Everybody vs. Cancer Invitational hosted by Toledo at the UT Varsity Tennis Courts.
Action on Friday begins at 10 a.m. with matches set to start at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The tournament features Toledo, UChicago, Case Western, Holy Cross, Tiffin and Wayne State and consists of a round-robin bracket for singles and a single elimination bracket for doubles.Â
The Penguins are coming off a strong effort at the YSU Invitational this past weekend winning the doubles title and taking two of three singles draws.
Going 3-0 last week in singles were Alexis Maulouet and Alex Woiten to win their draws. Overall, YSU was 9-6 in singles play and 6-3 in doubles contests at the event.
