Penguins Open Fall Season by Hosting Youngstown State Invitational

For the fifth consecutive season, the Youngstown State men's tennis team will host the Youngstown State Invitational at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center. The two-day tournament is scheduled to take place Sept. 12 and 13.
Mercyhurst, Duquesne, Marquette and Case Western Reserve are all set to compete in the invitational.
Mercyhurst and Marquette will be competing in the invitational for the first time, while Duquesne and CWRU will make their fourth and second consecutive appearances, respectively.
Last season, the Penguin doubles pairing of Alexis Maulouet and Rafael Le Fur captured the doubles crown after posting a perfect 4-0 record during the invitational.
Maulouet also claimed the A draw title in singles for the Penguins for the second consecutive season after Onder Balci won the event at the 2024 invitational. Alex Woiten added a C draw title for the Penguins.
