Youngstown State's women's basketball team's schedule for the 2025-26 season is complete following Thursday's announcement of the Horizon League portion of the slate.

YSU's 25th season of Horizon League competition will begin with three of the first four games on the road in December. The annual trip to Wisconsin will start league play as the Penguins visit Milwaukee on Dec. 5 and at Green Bay on Dec. 7. YSU's first conference game at Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center will be Dec. 16 against Wright State. The Penguins will then play at Cleveland State on Dec. 29 in their first contest after the holiday break.

Between the home game against the Raiders and the road tilt in Cleveland, YSU will play in a two-game tournament at FIU. A game against Division II Salem on Dec. 31 will finish the nonconference portion of the schedule, and it will be all Horizon League play once the calendar flips to 2026.

The Penguins will play five of their nine games in January on Rosselli Court, starting with three straight at home. YSU will host Oakland (Jan. 5), Northern Kentucky (Jan. 8) and Purdue Fort Wayne (Jan. 10) a span of six days, and the Penguins will play at Wright State on Jan. 14 for their first repeat opponent of the ledger.

YSU will host IU Indy on Jan. 17 and travel to Robert Morris on Jan. 21 as it dips back into first-time foes, and the Penguins' regular-season series against Cleveland State will wrap up on Jan. 25 at Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center. Detroit Mercy, YSU's final opponent in the double round-robin format, will host the Penguins on Jan. 29, and Youngstown State will remain in Michigan to play at Oakland on Jan. 31.

Just like January, February's schedule will open with three consecutive home games as the Penguins will host Milwaukee (Feb. 5), Green Bay (Feb. 7) and Robert Morris (Feb. 11). The Feb. 7 game against the Phoenix will be a doubleheader with the men. Youngstown State will then play its final three road games of the regular season at IU Indy (Feb. 15), Northern Kentucky (Feb. 19) and Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 21) before closing the regular season at home against Detroit Mercy on Feb. 25.
