Youngstown State Athletics will host a 2024-25 'photo of the year' fan vote on its Instagram Story beginning on Tuesday, July 8.

Fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite photo from the 2024-25 academic year. Each of the 19 teams that competed in 2024-25 will have at least one photo featured in the bracket.

24 photos were selected from the thousands taken throughout the 2024-25 season and were placed randomly into a bracket designed after the 24-Team Football Championship Subdivision playoff bracket.

Round 1 will take place on Tuesday, featuring 16 photos, and the winning eight photos will advance to Round 2 on Friday, July 11, to compete against eight photos that received first-round byes. Quarterfinals will take place on Tuesday, July 15, followed by semifinals on Friday, July 18.

The championship between the final two photos to name the fan-favorite photo of 2024-25 will occur on Tuesday, July 22.
