Youngstown State placed 165 student-athletes on the spring 2025 semester Horizon League Honor Roll, the conference announced on Wednesday.
A total of 1,332 student-athletes from all 11 member schools, four affiliate members and all 19 League sports are represented on the list.
YSU placed the most student-athletes with 165, with Milwaukee coming in second with 155, and Oakland was third with 129.
Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify:
1) Participation in at least one of the League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season.
2) Completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution.
3) A cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).
With 207 student-athletes on the honor roll, women's cross country/track & field had the highest representation among the League's 19 sports. Women's soccer and men's cross country/track & field round out the top three with 168 and 135 honorees, respectively.
