Youngstown, Ohio – Four Youngstown State softball players were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Softball team, the association announced on Tuesday.
Senior Taylor Truran, junior Kennedy Dean, and sophomores Autumn Behlke and Lydia Wilkerson represented the Penguins on the all-district squad.
This is Dean's second straight selection to the all-district team while Truran, Behlke, and Wilkerson appeared on the team for the first time.
Behlke owns a 4.0 grade-point average in marketing while Wilkerson carries a 4.0 in financial management. Dean has a 3.84 in marketing and Truran has a 3.72 GPA in general studies.
Behlke and Wilkerson were also named to the 2025 Valeo Horizon League All-Academic Team.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
