Youngstown, Ohio — Youngstown State's women's basketball team's annual pink game will be held this Saturday as the Penguins look to raise breast cancer awareness and support efforts locally.

YSU will wear pink jerseys as part of the NCAA Women's Basketball community's annual movement in February to fight women's cancers in conjunction with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Those jerseys will then be auctioned off, and proceeds will benefit the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center at Mercy Health in Youngstown.

The online auction will begin on Feb. 14, one day before the Penguins host IU Indy at 2 p.m. for the pink game at Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Center. Fans can bid on jerseys at ysusports.com/penguinauction through the closing of the auction on Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.

All auction winners will be able to pick up their jerseys at the YSU Athletic Ticket Office in Stambaugh Stadium during regular business hours (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) starting on Feb. 25. Winning bidders will be responsible for all shipping and handling charges for those who cannot pick up.
