Congratulations to diver Rafael Serey-Cormier, as he continued his very strong freshman season with his first Horizon League Men's Diver of the Week honor, the league announced Wednesday.
Serey-Cormier swept diving event victories at last week's four-day Zippy Invite, claiming victory in the one-meter dive with a score of 269.40, while also winning the three-meter dive, scoring 288.15.
He was won six events thus far over his first three collegiate swim meets.
Serey-Cormier is the second Penguin diver to earn Horizon League weekly honors this season, with Hanna Held already being named Horizon League Women's Diver of the Week twice this season, on Oct. 8 and Nov. 25.
Rafael will be back in action when the calendar turns to 2026, as he and his teammates will battle IU Indianapolis inside Beeghly Natatorium on Jan. 9-10.
