Nashville, Tenn. – The Youngstown State men's tennis team had a strong showing at the three-day Horizon League Individual Championships which concluded on Sunday at Belmont's Beaman Family Tennis Complex.

YSU's doubles pair of Alexis Maulouet and Rafael Le Fur reached the semifinals following two wins. In singles, Matteo Ceradelli won his first two contests to reach the quarterfinals where dropped a tough three-set decision.

Overall, the Guins won four matches in the main bracket and added two wins in consolation play.

YSU returns to action at the ITA Midwest Regionals hosted by DePaul starting on Oct. 16 in Chicago, Ill.
