Cleveland, Ohio – The Youngstown State men's tennis team had the singles main draw winner and a consolation draw winner at the three-day CSU Viking Invitational which concluded on Sunday at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.

YSU's Dominik Vonbank won all five of his matches to win the singles main draw while Oscar Gippet went 5-1 to win the consolation round of 32 back draw. The Guins combined to win 15 singles matches and seven doubles contests in their final tournament of the fall.

On Sunday, Vonbank defeated Wayne State's George Day in the semifinals by a 7-5, 6-2 score before dispatching WSU's Tom Wasner in the final, 6-3, 6-2. In the round of 32 back draw, Gippet beat Justin Prochnow by a 6-4, 6-1 score before defeating Bryce Ware, 6-3, 6-1 in his final.

In doubles action, Rafael Le Fur and Mihai Haita claimed two wins as did Alex Woiten and Takamasa Mishiro.
