Chicago, Ill. – The Youngstown State men's tennis team had a strong showing at the ITA Midwest Regionals hosted by DePaul at the XS Tennis Village.
YSU picked up five singles wins and a pair of doubles victories at the event. In the qualifying, Dominik Vonbank won twice to reach the main draw. In the consolation session, Oscar Gippet and Mihai Haita each collected victories.
In doubles, Youngstown State advance two duos to the round of 32 after first-round triumphs.
YSU is back in action on Oct. 24-26 when it travels just up the Ohio Turnpike for the Cleveland State Invitational at the MMTP.
