Penguins Set to Entertain Miami (Ohio) on Saturday Morning

The Youngstown State women's tennis team resumes action on Saturday against Miami (Ohio) at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center. First serve against the Redhawks is set for 10 a.m.

The Penguins dropped a tough 4-3 decision to Marshall in the season opener last Saturday. Winning singles contests for the Guins were Julia Marko at No. 1, Lorena Cedeno at No. 5 and Yoana Dudova at No. 6.

Marko was named the Horizon League's Singles Player of the Week for her victory.

YSU last played Miami in February 2022. The Penguins have lost both all-time meetings in the series.

The Guins will play three matches in three days in Las Vegas next week.
