Programs Earn CSCAA Spring Scholar All-American Honors

The Youngstown State men's and women's swimming and diving programs were both named to the College of Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Division I Spring 2024 Scholar All-America Teams list, the CSCAA announced.
The men's teams boasted an impressive GPA of 3.59 to earn the honor. The women's squad earned a Spring 2024 GPA of 3.53 to earn their spot on the prestigious list.
Columbia had the highest GPA of all Division I men's programs at 3.85. Saint Louis women were top for DI women, earning a spring GPA of 3.86
To qualify for the award, teams must exhibit an exceptional GPA for the Spring 2024 semester. The CSCAA recognized 722 teams (417 institutions) across the NCAA as Scholar All-American teams. An impressive 563 teams, including the Penguins, earned GPAs of 3.30 or above to earn eligibility for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
The CSCAA also recognizes conferences that place 100% of their teams on the Scholar All-American list. The Horizon League men and women earned this honor with all teams earning a spot on the list.
