Guins Sending More Than 20 Athletes to Harrison Dillard Twilight

Following an impressive performance at the Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the Youngstown State track and field teams will return to action at the Harrison Dillard Twilight hosted by Baldwin-Wallace on Thursday and Friday.
Additionally, distance runner Hunter Christopher will travel to California to compete in the 5,000m at the Sound Running Track Fest in Los Angeles, Calif., hosted Occidental College's Jack Kemp Stadium. Christopher's race is set to begin at 9:05 p.m. Pacific/12:05 a.m. Eastern time.
The meet at Baldwin-Wallace will be held at the George Finnie Stadium on Friday. The discus will take place on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. YSU's Coleson Kertesz will be in action on Thursday.
Events on Friday begin at 11 a.m. with the pole vault and will continue throughout the day.
Most of YSU's athletes competing are from the men's program while Ainsley Hamsher and Kaitlyn Eger will represent the women by competing in the pole vault.
The Penguins currently have 11 athletes with potential qualifying marks for the 2024 NCAA East Preliminary round.
