Penguins Play Host to YSU Spring Invitational on Sunday and Monday

The Youngstown State women's golf team will resume its spring schedule on Sunday and Monday when it plays host to the YSU Spring Invitational at Avalon Lakes Golf Course in Warren, Ohio.
The Penguins are coming off an eighth-place finish in Northern Kentucky's The Julie on March 25-26. Neeranuch Prajunpanich finished tied for fifth individually with a two-round score of 150 (78-72) to earn her fifth top-10 finish of the season. Lizzie Saur finished tied for seventh with a two-round total of 151 (78-73) to collect her sixth top-10 finish of the campaign.
The tournament field at the YSU Spring Invitational will feature five other schools including Akron, Bucknell, LaSalle, Mercyhurst and Saint Francis.
The teams are scheduled to play 18 holes on both Sunday and Monday in the two-day, 36-hole event. Tee times off No. 1 for Sunday's opening round are scheduled to take place from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Split tee times off No. 1 and No. 10 for Monday's second round are scheduled from 8-9 a.m. The course will play approximately 5,902 yards and par is 72. Head Coach Nate Miklos has announced that YSU's six-player lineup will feature Prajunpanich, Saur, Titita Loudtragulngam, Chaela Barnett, Danae Rugola and Adena Rugola. In addition, Kelly Hutton will be competing as an individual for the Penguins.

- Hutton – 12:30 p.m.
- A. Rugola – 12:40 p.m.
- D. Rugola – 12:50 p.m.
- Barnett – 1 p.m.
- Loudtragulngam – 1:10 p.m.
- Saur – 1:20 p.m.
- Prajunpanich – 1:30 p.m.
Barnett, Loudtragulngam, Prajunpanich and Saur have competed in each of the nine tournaments that YSU has played this season. Adena Rugola has participated in eight events, Danae Rugola has competed in four tournaments and Hutton has seen action in two events.
