Penguins Face Key Matches at Chicago State, Milwaukee

The Youngstown State women's tennis team resumes Horizon League play this weekend with matches at Chicago State and Milwaukee.
Saturday's contest at Chicago State is set for 3 p.m. Eastern/2 p.m. Central at the H-F Racquet and Fitness Club in Homewood, Ill. Sunday's match at Milwaukee is set for 2 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Central at the River Glen Elite Tennis Club.
This is YSU's first match at Chicago State since April 8, 1999. The Penguins beat the Cougars 5-2 last year in Youngstown. The last time the Guins were in action at Milwaukee was on March 24, 1999, a 5-2 win by the Panthers.
YSU opened Horizon League play last Saturday with a 5-2 loss at Cleveland State. It was the Penguins' first match in Cleveland since 2018.
Against the Vikings, Julia Marko picked up a win at No. 2 and Yeseniia Ovcharova won at No. 6 singles.
After playing their first three matches on the road, YSU plays host to Northern Kentucky and IUPUI next weekend.
