YSU Concludes Regular Season At Cleveland State

The Youngstown State men's tennis team closes out the regular season with a dual match at Cleveland State on Saturday. First serve at the MMTP in Cleveland is set for 6 p.m.
The Penguins (9-10 overall and 3-4 in the Horizon League) dropped a 5-2 decision to the Vikings (18-6, 7-0) earlier this season. The Guins are locked into the No. 3 seed from the North for next week's Horizon League Championships while CSU will be the North's No. 1 seed.
YSU picked up a key 6-1 win over IUPUI last Sunday which qualified them for the postseason.
This spring, Onder Balci has led the team with a 15-4 record while Harry Fouzas has 10 wins, William Rassat has nine and Nishant Dabas has eight. On March 22 at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center, Balci and Fouzas earned singles wins at No. 4 and No. 5 against the Vikes.
Balci is 6-1 in Horizon League matches while Fouzas is 5-1.
The Guins will next be in action on Friday, April 26 in the opening round of the Horizon League Championships in West Lafayette, Ind., at Purdue University.
