Penguins Travel to Tennessee For Three Matches In Three Days

The Youngstown State men's tennis team has a three-match in three-day stretch in Tennessee beginning on Wednesday.
YSU (4-5) will be at Lipscomb on Wednesday, will take on Troy on Thursday in Clarksville, Tenn., and visit Tennessee Tech on Friday.
First serve on Wednesday is set for 2 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Central at the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center in Nashville. On Thursday, the contest against No. 72 Troy will be played at Austin Peay at 11 a.m. Eastern/10 a.m. Central. The trip finale at Tennessee Tech is set for a 1 p.m. Eastern/Noon Central start at the Tech Tennis Courts.
The Guins were last in action on Feb. 18 when they picked up a 4-3 win against Xavier. In dual play, Onder Balci leads the team with six victories while Nathan Favier has won five matches.
Lipscomb enters tomorrow's match with a 5-6 record, Troy is an impressive 12-2 and Tennessee Tech is 0-6.
YSU last played Lipscomb in a dual match in March 1981. The Penguins have played Troy twice in program history, most recently in March 1995. The Guins have played Tennessee Tech on five occasions, with the last contest played in April 1988.
