Prajunpanich and Saur Earn Top-10 Finishes at The Julie

Neeranuch Prajunpanich and Lizzie Saur each collected a top-10 individual finish to lead the Youngstown State women's golf team to an eighth-place finish in The Julie hosted by Northern Kentucky, which concluded on Tuesday from Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio.
The Penguins concluded the two-day event with a 36-hole team score of 630 to place eighth. YSU recorded a single-round team score of 319 in the opening round on Monday before closing the tournament with a 311 in the second and final session on Tuesday.
Prajunpanich finished tied for fifth individually with a two-round score of 150 (78-72) to earn her fifth top-10 finish of the season. The freshman's even-par 72 in the second round featured 11 pars and three birdies as she moved up 17 spots on the individual leaderboard.
Lizzie Saur finished tied for seventh with a two-round total of 151 (78-73) to collect her sixth top-10 finish of the campaign. The junior's one-over-par 73 in the second session included 11 pars and three birdies as she climbed up 15 spots on the individual leaderboard.
Playing as an individual, Chaela Barnett finished tied for 32nd with a two-round 158 (80-78). Titita Loudtragulngam concluded the tournament with a two-round score of 162 (86-80) while Adena Rugola finished the event with a two-round total of 167 (81-86).
IUPUI claimed the tournament title by a single stroke with a two-round team total of 606. Purdue Fort Wayne finished as the runner-up with a 607 while Green Bay placed third with a 608. Northern Kentucky finished fourth with a 615 while Glenville State rounded out the top five with a 619.
Cleveland State's Katilin Kormuth earned medalist honors by three strokes at one over par with a two-round score of 145 (73-72).
Youngstown State will continue its spring schedule on April 7-8 when it plays host to the YSU Spring Invitational at Avalon Lakes Golf Course in Warren, Ohio.
