The Youngstown State women's basketball team will host IUPUI on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the opening round of the 2024 Barbasol Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship. The Penguins finished the regular season with a 9-11 mark in conference play to finish as the seventh seed, and they will host the 10th-seeded Jaguars at Beeghly Center.
Tickets for the contest will be available starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday on YSUsports.com. Courtside Coaches Club members and season-ticket holders will have until 5 p.m. on Monday to purchase their tickets until they are released to the public. Fans can also call or visit the YSU Athletic Ticket Office in Stambaugh Stadium from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Gates to Beeghly Center will open at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
All tickets to the game will be $15 if purchased on Monday or $17 if purchased on Tuesday. Tickets for Youngstown State students are free with a valid YSU ID.
Youngstown State had a chance to finish as high as the fifth seed going into Saturday's action, but results across the league did not go in the Penguins' favor. YSU finished in a tie for sixth place, and it lost a tiebreaker with Detroit Mercy to finish as the seventh seed.
YSU split its two games against the Jaguars during the regular season, winning 58-56 at Beeghly Center on Dec. 31 and falling 69-63 in Indianapolis on Jan. 31.
