Penguins Set to Host Duquesne, Michigan State

YSU Faces the Dukes on Friday and Spartans on Saturday
The Youngstown State women's tennis team plays its final two non-league matches of the season when the Penguins play host to Duquesne on Friday and Michigan State on Saturday at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
First serve against the Dukes on Friday is set for 4 p.m. while Saturday's tilt against the Spartans is set for 10 a.m.
YSU's most recent match was at Cal State Fullerton last Friday in California. The Dukes (3-8) suffered a 5-2 defeat to Davidson in their most recent outing.
In doubles play this spring, YSU is 17-16. Lorena Cedeno leads the Guins with five singles wins in dual matches.
Last season, Youngstown State defeated Duquesne, 5-2, on March 17 in Pittsburgh. The Penguins have won the last four meetings against the Dukes.
YSU has never played Michigan State and the last Big Ten foe the Guins have faced was Michigan in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
The Guins open Horizon League play on March 30 at Cleveland State.
